Where does the name "Kijiji" come from?

SolutionThe word "kijiji" (pronounced like key-gee-gee) means "village" in Swahili. This name was chosen because it captures the essence of what we are creating - a site where people can connect with others in their local community.

It's no accident: If you look down at your keyboard you'll noticed that the letters k, i and j are located next to each other. So you see, it's all about local for us.
